Convergences: Forty Encounters with Teilhard de Chardin is now available through publisher Sal Terrae, an imprint of Grupo Comunicación de Loyola!

I am honored and grateful to have been considered among the other powerful spiritual teachers and theological writers who contributed to this project as a testimony to the life, vision, and inspiration of Pierre Teilhard de Chardin. I am especially appreciative to Juan V. Fernández de la Gala for organizing the project, Sr. Kathy Duffy for connecting me with Juan, and Jason Willits for helping me to proofread and edit my chapter.

My chapter, “La diafania de los panales” (or “The Diaphany of the Diapers”), speaks to my experience of integrating Teilhard’s larger, cosmic worldview into the most mundane of human activity . . . even changing diapers.

From @grupocomunicacionloyola:

“Forty people, forty lives touched by Teilhard de Chardin. In this choral book, Juan V. Fernández de la Gala collects testimonies from scientists, theologians, religious leaders, and seekers who found in the “Teilhardian” vision a key to uniting faith and science, body and spirit, evolution and hope. From the Amazon to Rome, passing through laboratories, classrooms, and communities, each encounter is a story of transformation. More than a tribute, it is a map of new paths, where matter becomes sacrament and the universal Christ summons us to cosmic communion. A reading that questions and accompanies.”

Convergences is currently available in Spanish, and it will be published in English soon.
